YOUTH CHOIR PRACTICE today at 11:30.

 THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVES…A STUDY FOR LENT.

During Lent on Sunday afternoons at 1:00 pm starting March 5 through April 2, Father Dan will lead a study on the book of Acts and how the Holy Spirit moved in the early church and still moves among and in us and the culture today.  How does the Holy Spirit move in your life?  Do you pay attention?  Please sign-up for this exciting Lent Study via email or on the bulletin board.

 EVENING PRAYER will be tonight at 5:30 p.m.

 ALPHA COURSE will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m.

 WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP meets at 2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m.. on Thursday, March , 9, 23, at the home of Marilyn McClure.  We meet twice a month; we begin our sessions with prayer and end with prayer.  If you have any questions, please contact Marilyn McClure..

 STATIONS OF THE CROSS Stations of the Cross will be held at 6:00 p.m. each Friday in Lent.  Walk with Jesus down the road to Calvary on The Way of the Cross,   A powerful devotional liturgy that follows Jesus through His passion and death.  At each station a meditation, versicle and response, and prayer is read.

 LENTEN COIN FOLDERS are available in the narthex.  Proceeds will be used to support the Madina Village School in Sierra Leone, with opened on September 16, 2013 for 270 students ages 4 through 10.  In the process the village, and surrounding area, has been mobilized to produce enough food to sustain themselves, and has been inspired to develop their own leadership and community efforts.

40 DAY PRAYER VIGIL THROUGHOUT LENT we are looking for one person every day in Lent to pray for Saint Alban’s.  Please see the sign-up sheet in the narthex for more details.

Sizes available are Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, 2X and 3X.  Size 4X is available only in short sleeve T-Shirts, Polos and Hoodies.  Prices range from $9.00 up to $30.00, plus sales tax.  The “X” sizes require a small fee added, ranging from $2 – $4.  TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!  Come enjoy a summer evening with your fellow parishioners at a Tin caps game June 16, 2017 at 7:05 p.m. All-star seat tickets spanning dugout to dugout are $10.00 each and are nonrefundable.  Make checks to St. Alban’s church by May 26.  Only 40 seats are available so sign up today in the narthex.  If you have any questions, please ask Mary Ann Krocker.

 GARAGE SALE – Thursday, June 1; Friday, June 2; & Saturday, June 8

Spring is just around the corner, and so are the thoughts of garage sales.  In an effort to raise money for the Food Bank, Phil and I will be holding a garage sale our home, 6218 Vance Ave., on the above dates.  All items need to be at our house by Friday, May 27th so we can sort and price.  Items can be brought to our house or, they can be brought to the church and Phil and I will take them home from there.  A third option is Phil and I will pick them up at your residence.  If you bring the items to the church, you can put them in the food bank and we will pick them up from there.  Start cleaning out those drawers and closets and donate your unwanted items to raise money for the Food Bank.  Any and all items that do not sell will be donated to the Treasure House.  Please do not donate items you want returned.  If you have any questions, please see me or call (260) 450-2874 or contact Phil at (260) 450-3147.  As we get close to the dates for the sales I will post any updates.  Also, please let me know if you have any suggestions.  Joyce and Philip Mayer.
