TODAY IS YOUTH / TEACHER RECOGNITION SUNDAY.  We want to thank Jon Fazzaro for playing guitar and Pat Stath playing the keyboard.  

 

If you are planning to submit an article for the newsletter, please have it to the office this week.  Thank you.

 

THERE WILL BE A FUNERAL FOR PAUL WISEHEART ON FRIDAY, MAY 24TH AT 10:00 a.m.  Paul passed on Friday, April 26th.  Please Join Us For Lunch Provided By Daughters Of The King In The Parish Hall.

 

TIN CAPS GAME Please join us for the on Friday, July 19th.  Game time is 7:05. It is always a good time at a beautiful stadium cheering for the home team.  And don’t forget all the great food and snacks from the vendors there.  There will be a sign up list on the bulletin board.  The tickets are 12.00 dollars each.  Please sign up for how many tickets you want.  All money for tickets must be in to Debbie by June 20th.  If writing a check please make it out to St. Alban’s.  If you have any questions, please contact Phil Mayer at 450-3147.  Hope to see everyone there.

 

HEART & HANDS will not be meeting regularly.  Anyone uncertain if they are meeting should call the office.

 

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY is taking a break, but will resume on Thursday, August 8th.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY…Today is Mother’s day.  Whether your Mom is still with us or with the Lord,come and say a special prayer for her.  May God bless all Mother’s and their most sacred vocation in life!  Please take a carnation for any mom you wish to give it to.

Parents of Graduates-to-Be   If you have a son or daughter who will graduate from high school or college this year, please let the office know now, so that we may include the listing of all graduates in next month’s newsletter.  We would like to not only know the name, but also the school, the date of graduation, and future plans.

YOUTH will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m.

WORSHIP COMMITTEE will meet this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Men’s Nite Out will be May 2, 2019 at 6:30. It will be at Casa Grill at 411 E. DuPont Road.  The sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board in the narthex.

HAPPY EASTER.  CHRIST IS RISEN!!!!

 

EASTER EGG HUNT to follow the 10:15 a.m. service today for ages newborn until 5th grade. Everyone interested should meet at the double doors in the narthex immediately after the service.

 

VESTRY will meet this Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

 

WOMEN’S BIBLE AND STUDY AND FELLOWSHIPwill meet this Thursday at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the home of Marilyn Rafter. 

 

ORDINATION OF MELISSA RENNER will be this Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Elkhart, IN.  Please sign the sheet located on the bulletin board if you would like to attend and need a ride.

YOUTH GROUP will meet today at 12:00 p.m.

 

There will be 6:10 p.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II at Trinity Episcopal Church located at 611 W. Berry St. on Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17.

There will be also be a 7:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II with Foot Washing this Thursday, April 18 at Trinity Episcopal Church.

 

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING will meet at 10:00 a.m. this Tuesday, April 16.

 

There will be a Lenten Soup supper at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church this Wednesday,  April 17, located at 10010 Aurora Pl followed by Holden Evening Prayer at 7:00 p.m.  

 

FRIDAY EVENINGS IN LENT:  Stations of the Cross will be held at 6:00 p.m. this Friday.  Walk with Jesus down the road to Calvary on The Way of the Cross, a powerful devotional liturgy that follows Jesus through His passion and death.  At each station a meditation, versicle and response, and prayer is read. 

 

YOUTH GROUP OVERNIGHT this Friday at 6:00 p.m.

 

CROSS AND SWORD DEADLINE this Friday.  

 

EASTER ENVELOPES ARE DUE IN THE OFFICE TODAY IN ORDER TO BE ADDED TO BULLETIN FOR EASTER. 

 

ALTAR GUILD will meet this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to prepare for Easter.  

 

There will be a 9:00 p.m. Easter Vigil Rite I with Incense at Trinity Episcopal Church this Saturday.

Megan and Robbie Frede welcomed Charlotte Anne Frede into the world on March 29th weighing 5lbs 6ozs, they plan on calling her Charlie. Join us in saying a prayer of thanksgiving for the birth of Charlie and the joy of God’s blessing she will bring to all of us.

YOUTH CHOIR will meet today at 11:30 a.m.
