Welcome to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church—we’re very glad you’re here!
While our annual Stewardship Campaign officially concluded on Sunday, October 8th with our in-gathering of pledge cards and the liturgical blessing of the same during the Eucharist, we are still gratefully accepting pledges as we get ready to prepare our 2024 budget for St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. THANK YOU for your consideration and participation in this stewardship process—we all benefit when our church family pulls together!
FROM OUR FRIENDS AT TRINITY CHURCH (DOWNTOWN FORT WAYNE),
RON AND LINDA BUSKIRK:
Delicious, organic, certified extra virgin, fair trade, Palestinian olive oil is again available for purchase for holiday gift-giving or your own pantry. Olive Branch Olive Oil is a non-profit project established to aid Palestinian olive farmers by creating a market for their oil. Each 500 ml bottle sells for $16.00 – an inexpensive price for this quality oil pressed by West Bank farmers shortly after harvesting in their olive orchards.
And there’s more! This year Palestinian Medjoul Dates are available from the latest harvest, supporting Palestinian date farmers. The price of a 1-pound box is $14.00. They’re plump, sweet, and quite delicious! A portion of the sales of both the oil and the dates will be donated to Trinity’s Outreach Ministry.
To order, contact Ron Buskirk by November 19. Ronald_Buskirk@frontier.com, or 260-413-1953. Orders will be delivered for pick up at St. Alban’s in early December.
REMINDER: Next Sunday, November 5th, we will be celebrating the Principal Feast of All Saints. As part of our service on that day we will remember all the faithful departed of our parish at the altar; therefore, please see and fill out the Faithful Departed Day Prayer Request Forms. These are posted on the big bulletin board in the narthex. As every year these will be a part of the bulletin for next Sunday.
UPCOMING: MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

A special thank-you to George Shamp and Robbie Frede for installing some new outside lighting on our building; these lights are high up and were not the easiest to work with so we appreciate the work and the risk! God Bless!
If you are able, please review the sign-up sheets in the Parish Hall for future openings for Coffee Hour sponsors and hosts and consider signing up for a Sunday; this makes our post-service fellowship very festive and delicious and we appreciate any and all help in this area!
