Welcome to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church—we’re very glad you’re here!

Today—directly following the 10 a.m. Eucharist—we will be preparing/decorating the interior of St. Alban’s for Christmas. Traditionally known as “the Greening of the Church,” this is taking place a full week before Christmas Eve due to the timing of December 24^th being on a Sunday this year. We gratefully welcome all the help we can get for this annual Christmas activity, so please join us if you are able! 

ALSO….again, due to the odd timing of Christmas this year, there will be no traditional Coffee Hour next Sunday, 12/24 after the 10 a.m. Eucharist.

Thank you to EVERYONE who donated toward our Christmas flower/poinsettia decorations this year. The response was great and we look forward to the church’s festive and holy presentation in honor of the season! Your generosity is GREATLY APPRECIATED! 

The next Men’s Night Out will take place at Zianos Italian Eatery (702 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 12/20. ALL guys are welcome!! 

Another big THANK YOU to everyone who donated coats, hats, gloves, scarves and other winter outer wear items to our “Between the Holidays Coat Drive”! All these goods were delivered this week to both the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and to the St. Joseph’s Women’s Shelter and were received with much gratitude and appreciation.  Many thanks to everyone who made this drive so successful and to Denise Frede for inspiring it in the first place!  

The St. Alban’s Annual Meeting & Potluck Lunch will take place after the 10 a.m. Eucharist on Sunday, January 21^st, 2024. We will elect new members of the Vestry, present the 2024 Budget for the congregation and look forward to a new year of ministry at St. Alban’s. Look for a sign-up sheet for food offerings for this event to appear on the big bulletin board in the narthex!  Finally, if you are on the Vestry and the head of a specific ministry Commission please be aware that all annual reports are due by Saturday, January 6^th, 2024. THANK YOU!! 

If you are able, please review the sign-up sheets in the Parish Hall for future openings for Coffee Hour sponsors and hosts and consider signing up for a Sunday; this makes our post-service fellowship very festive and delicious and we appreciate any and all help in this area!

Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall – come join us on Wednesdays as we tackle the Book of Isaiah. Our Bible Study is always followed by a celebration of the Eucharist. ALL ARE WELCOME!!  (This Bible Study will NOT meet on Dec. 20^th and 27^th due to the Christmas holidays; the class will 

resume its regular schedule on Wednesday, January 3^rd at 10 a.m.)

The evening Bible Study and Eucharist that takes place on Thursdays in the Parish Hall at 6:30 p.m. is currently engaged in reading the “Apocryphal” Book of the Wisdom of Solomon. All are welcome! (This Bible Study will NOT meet on Dec. 27^th as Fr. Michael will be out of town but will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, January 4^th at 6:30 p.m.)

FYI: Fr. Michael’s regular office hours are Tuesday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and any other time by appointment.  Monday is his regular day off.
