LUNCH BUNCH meets this Tuesday at 11:30 at St. James Restaurant, 204 E Albion Street, Avilla. A car pool will leave the church at 11:00 a.m. Please sign the poster in the narthex. If you need to cancel your reservation, contact Anita at 348-1170 or 341-4057.

FINANCE AND PROPERTY commissions meet this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

ONE YEAR BIBLE STUDY meets next Sunday at 9:15 a.m.

SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENTS are invited to bring in food for our food bank next Sunday. On that day you will see in the narthex the basket and wagon, where you can deposit food gifts. Food collected on these Sundays is vital to our food bank ministry. Further, reaching out to others in love is central to being a Christian. Through your generosity many are fed. Current needs include crackers, juice, soup, muffin mix, tuna, gelatin and pudding.

A HOLY EUCHARIST SERVICE will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve to praise our God for His numerous blessings. Please plan to join us.

CALLING ALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH! Christmas is coming and we will once again present the Christmas pageant at the Christmas Eve service. If your child is interested in being a part of this wonderful and heartwarming pageant, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex and plan to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals will be on November 24, December 8, December 15 and December 22 immediately following the 10:15 service. They will last approximately half an hour. (Please note that there is no rehearsal on December 1 due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.) If there are any questions, please contact Janine Steinbrunner at janinesteinb@yahoo.com or 338-2660. Thank you.

ENVELOPES FOR THANKSGIVING FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS are in the pew card holders. You may contribute any amount for these flowers. Please note whether you would like the flowers in thanksgiving for an important event in your life or in memory of a loved one. Envelopes must be received by next Sunday to have information listed in the bulletin.

OFFERING ENVELOPES for 2014 are available in the narthex for all members (pledging and non-pledging) and for non-members who have made identifiable contributions this year. If you have not picked yours up, please do so today. Contributions are tracked according to envelope numbers, not names. Using your envelopes is a great help to the counters and data input operators.

FOOD BANK current needs are cereal, stew, canned fruit, chicken broth, beef broth, gelatin, pudding, flour, sugar.

OPEN DATES for Sanctuary Candles are December 1 and 29.

OPEN DATES for Altar Flowers are December 1, 15, 22 and 29. During Advent we use evergreen arrangements on the altar in place of flowers. However, you may still sign the flower calendar for memorials and thanksgiving. Names will be printed in the bulletin, and the money contributed will be used to purchase the greenery.

ATTENDANCE last Sunday was 67.
