WORSHIP COMMISSION meets this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

PRAYER NIGHT will be held at 7:00 p.m. this Thursday. We will discuss our prayer lives, offer prayers for the Church, and discuss important Christian topics for the month.

OUTREACH COMMISSION meets next Sunday at 9:15 a.m.

TEACHERS NEEDED A teachers’ meeting will be held next Sunday after the 10:15 service. Anyone interested in teaching is asked to attend this meeting. A new curriculum has been chosen and we will discuss the program and the schedule. If you are able to give one Sunday a month to this ministry, you will find it very rewarding and fulfilling. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would still like to teach or be a part of this program, please contact Kelli MacDonald at 760-7040.

ATTENTION ALL SERVERS AND CRUCIFERS There will be a training meeting after the 10:15 service next Sunday. If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, then please contact Father Layden. This is a great ministry to help praise the Lord.

LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS AND LECTORS will meet after each service on August 24. Thus, the meeting for the 8:00 worshippers will be at 9:15 a.m., and a meeting for those who worship at 10:15 will be at 11:30 a.m. If you are already a LEM or Lector, or if you are interested in this amazing ministry, please join us.

NURSERY ATTENDANTS NEEDED We are looking for 8-10 volunteers to help us staff the nursery this year. If you love kids and would be able to volunteer an hour at least once a month, please see Kelli MacDonald. Teenagers, grandparents, mothers and fathers could all make our nursery at Saint Alban’s a great place for young children to stay during the 10:15 service. We would like to staff two people each Sunday. If you are looking for a way to serve and be involved, this could be what you are looking for. There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex.

FORWARD DAY BY DAY devotional booklets for August through October are available in the narthex. Please take one for your personal or family devotions and another to share with a friend.
