WELCOME. We want to welcome any and all visitors with us today. If you would like to make yourself known to us, then please fill out a blue card found in your pews and place it in the alms plate when that is passed. Please also join us for fellowship after the service in the parish hall which is to your right as you exit the sanctuary.

NEW COFFEE HOUR. This year we will be trying something new for coffee hour after the 10:15 service. Instead of relying on a few individuals many times, we are encouraging everyone to sign up for a few Sundays throughout the year. There is a schedule posted on the board through December. Thus if you can sign up for one Sunday between now and then that would be great. Instructions on what to do for the Sunday you sign up will be provided. If you should have any questions then please talk to Marilyn Rafter or Jane Spice.

ACOLYTE MEETING Attention all Servers and Crucifers! There will be a training meeting after church on August 30. If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, then please contact Father Layden. This is a great ministry to help praise the Lord.

WORSHIP COMMISSION will meet at 6:00, Wednesday, September 2.

MEN’S NIGHT OUT will meet on Thursday September 3 at Chop’s Steaks & Seafood, located at 6421 W. Jefferson Blvd. Please sign the sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

OUTREACH MEETING will be on Friday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m.

ALTAR GUILD will meet at 10am on Saturday, September 12.

USHERS will meet Sunday September 13th at 9:15am.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING will meet on September 15, at 9:30 a.m.

JOHNNY APPLESEED Have you ever wanted to be a pioneer?? Then here’s your chance!! We are in need of volunteers to help at the Saint Alban’s Sizzle Chops booth this year at the Johnny Appleseed Festival! We have a variety of shifts available both Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, as well as a small shift on Friday night, September 18 to help with set-up.

I will have a table set-up in the Narthex today immediately following the 8:15am service and both before and after the 10:15am service with sign up information.
