YOUTH COOKOUT is scheduled for this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
2nd ANNUAL SAINT ALBAN’S GARAGE SALE – Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2nd. It’s garage sale time again. This year all proceeds will go to the operating fund. It will be at the Mayer’s house again at 6218 Vance Avenue, Fort Wayne. All items need to be at The Mayer’s residence no later than Friday, May 25, 2018. Please do not send items if you want them returned. Any items not sold will be donated to the Treasure House, a ministry of the Rescue Mission. Please check item to make sure they are in working condition and that there are no rips, tears or holes. You may bring items to our house or to the church and we will take them from there. Start cleaning out your unwanted items so we can build up the operating fund. Once again, please make sure all items are in good condition. CARE CONNECTIONS On the bulletin board, in the Narthex, is a signup sheet for those needing a ride to church events. If you need a ride, please fill in your name, event, address, and phone number. If you can offer a ride, please contact the person in need.
HEART & HANDS TAKING A BREAK: This Friday will be the last time for the knitting/crocheting/sewing ministry until the summer months. The Friday 10-AM meetings will reconvene in late August or early September. Watch for announcements in the bulletin.
PENTECOST IS YOUTH SUNDAY, MAY 20. This year we will celebrate Pentecost with our youth group leading. Pentecost as you know is about the coming of the Holy Spirit and celebrating the gifts of the church, and we are always proud of how we see the gifts of God in our youth.” Remember to join us for this very special service and help.
GRADUATING SENIORS. If you know of someone graduating, then please contact the church office. We are hoping to acknowledge their accomplishments on the first Sunday in June.
