ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We want to thank Marilyn Rafter for opening her home and hosting a wiener roast/chili cook-off.  Congratulations to Jay for the award for best chili.  It was nice weather and a good time was had by all.   

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY will meet this Thursday at 2:00 – 4:00 at the home of Marilyn Rafter.

RESCUE MISSION will meet this Thursday at 4:30.

NEWSLETTER assembly will be this Friday.

COME BUILD OUR PLAYGROUND.  On Saturday October 6^th we will begin to build our playground. We are looking for people that are willing to help out in any way that they are able. We are meeting at the church at 8:00 a.m. and this process will take most of the day. We will be providing a small breakfast and lunch.  Come and help even if you aren’t able to lift or use a hammer, we will have other things that you would be able to help out with. Bring your own tools since we are extremely low on those types of things here at the church.  We will need things like hammers, power tools, levels and such.  If you have a wheel barrel or dolly we could use a couple of those as well.  There is a signup sheet in the narthex so that we know how many people to provide food for, please mark on the sheet if you aren’t available for the whole day.  See Cindy Spice if you have any questions about this event.
