WE WELCOME Reverend David Evans as our celebrant and preacher today and pray for God’s blessing upon his proclamation of the Word and administering of the Sacrament.
Grace Episcopal Church would like to invite one and all, along with your animal companions, to their annual Blessing of the Animals to be held today, Sunday October 6th at 3 PM at their church (10010 Aurora Place). STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY is Sunday the 13th the day we return our pledge cards and joyfully give thanks for all that the Lord has blessed us. Please prayerfully consider your pledge amount, find peace with the amount, and write it down. You also are asked to consider and look for ways to practice that “greatest gift,” the gift of love. Be ever mindful of the needs of others. We do this through prayer, kind acts, encouraging words, visitations, sometimes monetary donations, the possibilities are endless. We are making “Faith commitments”, between God and ourselves, for the building up of God’s kingdom, in return we trust in the Lord to take care and bless us. God always will! God always will!
YOUTH GROUP will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m.
THE LUNCH BUNCH will be going to Hall’s Prime Rib Restaurant on Randallia at 1:00 PM this Tuesday, October 8th. A flyer is on the bulletin board in the narthex to sign up and indicate your attendance. We welcome any and all who want to have lunch with a bunch of parishioners and friends who are retired.
