One definition of fellowship is, “a friendly association with people who share one interest.” That one interest for us at St. Alban’s is giving praise and thanks to God for all His blessings. We do that every Sunday in our worship service and any time we come together for a social occasion.
It is a special feeling to share fun and food and fellowship with those who are our brothers and sisters in Christ. It will be my pleasure in the coming year to bring the family of St Alban’s together frequently to share our love for Him and each other. It is my belief that we come to truly know one another during these occasions. During the Alpha Course dinners, my request for the group each week was to “sit with someone you do not know.” Isn’t that the answer to making new acquaintances? It is my hope that though the fellowship with the Holy Spirit and each other we will become as one family in Christ our Lord.
We declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
