Saint Alban’s is in relationship with Shepherd’s House.

Shepherd’s House is located on Tennessee Avenue in Fort Wayne, it is a residential/transitional housing center for male veterans 18 years or older with alcohol and chemical dependence addiction. They have approximately 35 residents and a success rate of 85 percent. Items that our parishioners furnish consist of coffee, sugar, creamer, city bus passes, clothing, bedding, bath towels and toiletries. Their mission is to rebuild the lives of those who society views as hopeless into sober and productive assets to the community. Their vision is to return Veterans self-sufficient, employed and empowered with a sober vision of hope for the future. Since 1998, Shepherd’s House has seen The Lord do miracles on a daily basis. Every day holds the possibility of the impossible happening. “Nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke   1:37)
