CONFIRMATION CLASS continues for students in grades 8 and 9, or anyone older who would like to be confirmed or received or reaffirm their faith. The class meets at 9:15 a.m. on the Sundays of October 12 and 26, and November 2 and 9. Bishop Little’s next official visit will be February 8, 2015, when he will confirm, receive and reaffirm those from this class. THE DIOCESAN CONVENTION will be held at Trinity Church, Michigan City, Indiana, on October 24-25. Please keep the convention and our delegates, Elaine Fazzaro, Marilyn McClure and Rick Spice, in your prayers.
THE NEXT GRIEF WORKSHOP will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2. Robert Rogers of Mighty in the Land Ministry will speak on Living a Life with No Regrets. He is the author of Into the Deep: One Man’s Story of How Tragedy Took His Family but Could Not Take His Faith.
ALL SAINTS DAY and All Faithful Departed Day will be celebrated on Sunday, November 2. You may submit names of those you wish to have remembered at the altar by filling out a form found on the bulletin board in the narthex. There is also an envelope marked “completed forms” on the board.
A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all the volunteers who helped run our Sizzle Chop booth at the Johnny Appleseed Festival. Whether you worked the booth, helped set up or tear down, planned the operation, cleaned up afterwards, washed linens, shared experience and wisdom, or prayed for the success of the event, you are appreciated! With God’s help, we came together again for a wonderful weekend of fellowship. Thank you!
