THE LUNCH BUNCH will meet at St. James Restaurant, 204 E Albion Street in Avilla at 11:30 this Tuesday. A carpool will leave the church at 10:50 a.m. Please sign the poster on the bulletin board in the narthex. If you need to cancel your reservation, contact Anita Grams at 449-9682.

FINANCE AND PROPERTY commissions meet this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP meets at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday at the home of Marilyn McClure.

A BRUNCH to welcome new members will be held next Sunday after services. Please sign up on the board and join us.

JUNIOR CHOIR meets next Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

MEN’S NIGHT OUT is scheduled for 6:30 on Thursday, November 20.

A CHRISTMAS PAGEANT meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 23, for all who would like to participate in the pageant. The pageant will be part of the 4:00 p.m. worship service on Christmas Eve. Please speak with Janine Steinbrunner (338-2660) if you have any questions.

A THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26. Please mark your calendar now and join us as we praise our God for His numerous blessings to us.

THE SAINT NICHOLAS PARTY will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 7. Lunch will be provided. Children will decorate cookies and Father Layden will explain the Jesse Tree. There will also be a special guest stopping by for a visit.

ENVELOPES FOR THANKSGIVING FLOWERS and decorations are in the pew card holders. You may contribute any amount for these flowers. Please note whether you would like the flowers in thanksgiving for an important event in your life or in memory of a loved one. Envelopes must be returned TODAY to have information listed in the bulletin.

THANKSGIVING MEALS Please bring the item and turkey tag to church by next Sunday. Please treat the tags gently so they can be used again next year. Refrigerated items go in the refrigerator in the boiler room and frozen items go in the chest freezer in the Food Bank. Thank you for giving these families a joyous Thanksgiving.

FORWARD DAY BY DAY devotions for November through January are available in the narthex. Please take one for your personal or family devotions and take another to share with a friend.

FOOD BANK NEEDS pancake syrup, spaghetti sauce, beef and chicken broth, chicken noodle soup, muffin mixes, cake mixes, mustard, ketchup, paper towels, facial tissue.

THE GIVING TREE, filled with ornaments that have gift requests listed on the back, will be in the narthex next Sunday. Please be sure to register your gift selection with a Daughter at a table nearby, where the ornament will be exchanged for a gift tag which you will attach to your gift. All gifts should be new and wrapped in Christmas paper. A basket of labels, from which you may choose food and hygiene items needed by the families, will also be available at the table. You do not have to wrap these items, just place them in the laundry basket with the family number, located by the tree. All gifts, food and hygiene items are due at the church by Sunday, December 7. Thank you for your assistance with this project.

SOME OFFERING ENVELOPES for 2015 are still available on the table in the narthex. If you have not picked yours up, please do so today. Please continue to use your 2014 envelopes through the rest of this year. Envelope numbers have changed next year for those who had a number higher than 110.

OPEN DATE for Altar Flowers is November 16.

ATTENDANCE last Sunday was 88.
