YOUTH GROUP meets tonight at 6:30 p.m.
THIS IS CHURCH CLEANING WEEK.
A LENTEN STUDY focusing on the four Gospels and what each of them highlights concludes this Wednesday. Join us for worship at 6:30 p.m., followed by the study.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS are held at 6:00 p.m. each Friday during Lent. Walk with Jesus down the road to Calvary on The Way of the Cross, a powerful devotional liturgy that follows Jesus through His passion and death. At each station a meditation, versicle and response, and prayer is read.
ALTAR GUILD meets at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday to prepare palms.
A CHRISM EUCHARIST will be held at the Cathedral of St. James in South Bend at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday. Please sign the poster in the narthex if you plan to attend.
NEXT WEEK IS PALM SUNDAY, when we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. At the 10:15 service we assemble at the outdoor crucifix and process into the church carrying palm branches, while singing the traditional hymn All Glory Laud and Honor.
YOUTH CHOIR will meet following the 10:15 service on the Sundays of March 29, April 12 and April 19.
DURING HOLY WEEK services are held every evening. Worship with us at the major services on Maundy Thursday (7:00 p.m.) and Good Friday (Liturgy 9:00 a.m., Stations of the Cross Noon & 6:00 p.m.). Also join us for the simple Eucharist services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
AN ALL NIGHT WATCH follows the 7:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday service on April 2 and continues until the Good Friday Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. We are invited to keep watch on this night even as Jesus asked His disciples to keep watch with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane as He prayed about His impending crucifixion. Please sign the poster in the narthex.
