ANNUAL YOUTH CHRISTMAS PLAY Mark your calendars now for our play on Sunday, December 20, at 6:00 p.m.

This year’s play is called “Virgil’s First Christmas.” It is filled with funny characters that will prove to be inspirational as well as hilarious.

Come and join us for a dinner of breakfast items and a lot of fun. Tickets went on sale Sunday, November 29, and will be sold every Sunday up to and including the day of the show. We will sell after the 8:00 services and before and after the 10:15 services. Prices are $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for ages 3-10, with 2 and under free. If you have any questions or would like to help in any way please contact Janine Steinbrunner (338-2660) or Cindy Spice (348-7061).

HANGING OF THE GREENS Join us after the 10:15 service on December 20 as we work together to prepare for the joyous Christmas season.

DON’T FORGET – CROSSES FOR SALE in the Parish Hall. They would make nice Christmas gifts! All the proceeds go to the Roof Project. The sticker price on each cross is a suggested amount for your donation. Please pay by cash or check made payable to St. Alban’s and write “Roof Project” on memo line. Use envelope provided on table and drop in canister. Thank you.

GIFTS FOR LIFE Our collection for the Episcopal Relief & Development program will be ongoing through Christmas. We hope to be able to pool our resources to purchase several farm animals and/or other basic health needs that can transform the lives of some of the world’s most needy people. Envelopes for your gift are available with the poster on the bulletin board in the narthex. Any amount will help us reach our goal. If you write a check put “Gifts for Life” on the memo line. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS TREES once again adorn St. Alban’s front doors. The Food Bank will provide Christmas meals for six of our client families. Please pick a tag and bring the item and the tag to church by next Sunday. Please treat the tags gently so they can be used again next year. Refrigerated items go in the refrigerator in the boiler room and frozen items go in the chest freezer in the Food Bank. Thank you giving these families a joyous Christmas.

ENVELOPES FOR CHRISTMAS FLOWERS & DECORATIONS are in the pew card holders today and next Sunday. You may use this means to express your thanksgiving to God for the many blessings that He has given you. Please remember to indicate on the envelope if the contribution is in “memory of” or “thanksgiving for.” To have information listed in the Christmas bulletins, envelopes must be in the office by next Sunday.

UPDATED CHURCH DIRECTORIES were sent electronically to all members for whom we have e-mail addresses. Those may be kept on your computer for quick access. A few hard copies are available on the table in the narthex.

DURING ADVENT we use evergreen arrangements on the altar in place of flowers. However, you may still sign the flower calendar for memorials and thanksgiving. Names will be printed in the bulletin, and the money contributed will be used to purchase the greenery.

A GENTLE REMINDER TO PLEASE TURN IN YOUR 2016 PLEDGE IF YOU INTEND TO DO SO.

DON’T FORGET OFFERING ENVELOPES for 2016 are available on the table in the narthex. They are in alphabetical sequence. Please pick up and continue to use your 2015 envelopes through the rest of the year.
