ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 1549 SERVICE TODAY.  In our continued effort to connect more to our Christian Roots in the Church of England, today we will celebrate Holy Communion using the Eucharistic Prayer from the first Book of Common Prayer in English.  We will also hear the readings done in the King James Version of the Bible.

 A STUDY FOR LENT called “The Spirit and Scripture” is today at 12:30 p.m.  Anyone can come.  Please join us.

 PRAISE AND COMMUNION service this evening at 5:30 pm.

 OUR CHRISTIAN ROOTS IN ENGLAND pilgrimage class continues this evening at 6:30 PM. Please come and join us as we continue our journey learning about our Christian Roots in England. As many of you know, the youth group is undertaking a pilgrimage to London next summer. They invite you to explore with them as all are transformed learning our common heritage.

LENTEN COIN FOLDERS AND MITE BOXES Please return your Mite Boxes and Lenten Folders on Easter Sunday.

 DAUGHTERS OF THE KING will meet this Tuesday at 9:30 with Holy Communion  to start the day.

VESTRY will meet this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

WOMEN’S STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP will meet at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the home of Marilyn McClure.

 RESCUE MISSION at 4:30 p.m. this Thursday.

 NEWSLETTER ASSEMBLY is this Friday.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS this Friday evening 6pm.  Walk with Jesus down the road to Calvary on The Way of the Cross, a powerful devotional liturgy that follows Jesus through his passion and death.  At each station is a meditation, versicle response, and prayer.  Stations of the Cross is offered every Friday in Lent.

ALTAR GUILD PREPARATION FOR PALM SUNDAY THIS SATRURDAY AT 10AM.

 NEXT SUNDAY IS PALM SUNDAY, when we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.  This year, we will do the liturgy of the Palms in the Sanctuary having the children and youth helping pass out the palms.  So come on into church like usual and we will start from there.

HOLY COMMUNION will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week.

ON MAUNDY THURSDAY we gather at 7:00 p.m. to celebrate the institution of the Sacrament of Holy Communion by our Lord.  The service will include stripping of the altar.  All Altar Guild members are asked to be present.

AN ALL NIGHT WATCH before the Altar of Repose will be held following the Maundy Thursday service.  We are invited to keep watch on this night even as Jesus asked His disciples to keep watch with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane as He prayed about his impending crucifixion.  Please sign the poster in the narthex.  More than one person may sign for each segment.

ON GOOD FRIDAY the 9:00 a.m. liturgy includes communion from the Reserved Sacrament and a reading of The Passion According to St. John.  Also Stations of the Cross will be held at noon and a special service of Prayers and Songs at the foot of the Cross at 7PM.

 Every Wednesday 9:00 a.m. –11:30 a.m. and the third (3rd) Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
