Shepherd’s House

shepherdshouse1Saint Alban’s is in relationship with Shepherd’s House.

Shepherd’s House is located on Tennessee Avenue in Fort Wayne, it is a long term, residential/transitional housing center for homeless male veterans 18 years or older, with alcohol and chemical addictions. The structured approach is designed to help the participants develop a solid foundation of sobriety and are held accountable for behavior as well as for completion of daily work assignments.

We help by giving a monetary gift occasionally, along with an ongoing collection box in our narthex for donations of new socks, t-shirts, underwear, and toiletries.  Our parishioners also come through with used clothing in good condition.
