YOUTH GROUP will have an outing to laser tag this afternoon at 2pm.

WORSHIP THROUGH MUSIC Do you play an instrument?  Do you like to sing?  Would you like to sing or play a solo…or be part of a duet, trio, or even small ensemble?  Do you want to be part of the choir?  All who would like to participate in worship through music in anything from a solo to a group please contact Michelle Kyrou.

WILL YOU JOIN THE WALK FOR WESLEY (STATH TRACY) AND ANGELMAN SYNDROME? A group of St Alban’s family will be walking to bring awareness to and in support of the ASF. We will begin at 1; 00 on May 21 at Shoaff Park, This will coincide will the National Walk in Indianapolis. We look forward to walking with you. Donations are also being accepted. ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN-UP – volunteers (men, women or children) are needed to help with the annual grounds clean-up of St. Albans on Saturday, May 21 between 9 a.m. and noon.  Any amount of time you can spare to help out with this endeavor will be greatly appreciated.  For more detailed information see the poster on the bulletin board in the Narthex or contact David Krocker at (260) 739-8430.
DAUGHTERS OF THE KING will meet this Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The discussion of Prayer, A Holy Relationship led by Deacon Sandra Ritchie will continue. All women of the parish are welcome to attend.

CAMPBELL’S SOUP COMPANY is discontinuing their Labels for Education incentive and reward program the end of August. As we support Shambaugh Elementary School, they will be stopping this program the end of May by sending in their last collection. For those of you who save these labels, please bring in what you have by Tuesday, May 18. We will continue to save the Box Tops for Education on General Mills products for the school. ENDOWMENT FUND:  As many of you know we have an ever-growing endowment fund that is designed to help the long range financial goals here at Saint Alban’s.  The Endowment Board is actively looking into having a planned giving presentation in the fall, so keep a look out for that.  If you would like to talk about planned giving through a bequest or any other means, then please do not hesitate to contact John Naunas, Marilyn Rafter, Josh Miller or Tom Taylor.  Of course donations to the Endowment fund can be given at any time by writing checks to Saint Alban’s and using the “yellow” envelopes.  If you need envelopes please let the office know.

ASCENSION DAY SERVICE Forty days after Easter our Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, an event which took place before the eyes of His disciples, in order that the truth of His ascension might be historically established for the disciples and the entire Christian church. LAST SUNDAY TO REQUEST CONSECRATION TICKETS.  Today is the last Sunday to request one of the Consecration tickets.  There are only a few left.  Please sign the sheet on the Bulletin board.  The consecration is at 11am on Saturday June 25th at Trinity English Lutheran Church downtown Fort Wayne.

On May 21st the Outreach Commission will be sponsoring a walk for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. Our own little Wesley Stath Tracey was born with Angelman Syndrome. This is a national walk to bring awareness and support to the children and their families.  Please let me know if you can walk with us, make a donation or both. CHURCH CLEANING IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK.  Every other week the cleaning crew works to keep our Lord’s house in good order.  Cleaning may be done on your own schedule any time during the week.  If you would like to be responsible for cleaning a small area of the church, contact George Shamp.

again the collection will go to the Diocese of Jerusalem to help Christians in
REMINDER & CHANGE: If you have not yet returned your Mite Boxes and/or
Lenten Coin Folders, please do so by Sunday, April 10. Money from the Mite
Boxes will go to the Madina Village School in Sierra Leone and money from
the Coin Folders will go to the Shepherd House Your donations will be greatly
appreciated by those in need.

KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS POINTS As most of you know, Saint Alban’s receives money from the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  This is the easiest fundraiser that we have and the money goes into our Camp Fund.  The program is very simple, use your Kroger plus card at the register and as long as it has been registered as well as designated for Saint Alban’s, the rewards would go into our fund. This has to be done online, now I realize that registering your card online may be a bit challenging for some.  So I will be bringing my computer to church on Sunday April 10 and Sunday April 17 to assist anyone that needs help registering your card.  I will be available after the 8:00 a.m. and before and after the 10:15 a.m. services.  Remember to bring with you your Kroger plus Card.  Also, keep in mind that with this program even though you might have already done this that you will need to re-register each year sometime during the month of April. CAMP NEW HAPPENINGS SUNDAY is next Sunday the 21st. Camp New Happenings is a special camp that is for children who have a parent that has been incarcerated. Most of these children would never get a chance to attend a God-centered camp like this otherwise. If you would like to donate, there are envelopes in the narthex. Please bring them in next Sunday.
