THE JOHNNY APPLESEED FESTIVAL is next month.  Preparations have already begun with some members sewing new outfits.  Anyone interested in helping in the planning stage of this event, please let Cindy Spice know.  Mark on your calendars now for September 21 and 22, so you can volunteer a little bit of time during the festival.  Remember that we always have a great time and don’t forget those fabulous Sizzle Chops!

CHRISTIAN FORMATION MINISTRIES  We are looking for anyone who might be interested in either teaching Sunday School or volunteering in the nursery during the school year.  Our hope is that we get enough people that you would only serve in this area once a month or less.  The only skill that you need is the ability to love and support our children.  You will be required to attend a training session on Safeguarding God’s Children next Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  This training is required every 3 years.  Please contact me if you are interested in either one of these areas or both.  Cindy Spice 348-7061
