Nevada Jones will graduate from Northrop High School on June 13. She will attend Indiana University in Kokomo, where she will take nursing classes, looking to be a nurse practitioner. Nevada will play basketball for IU.

Jordan Parker will graduate from East Noble High School on June 15. He plans to attend IPFW and major in engineering.

ASCENSION DAY SERVICE Forty days after Easter our Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, an event which took place before the eyes of His disciples, in order that the truth of His ascension might be historically established for the disciples and the entire Christian church. Plan to join us for the Ascension Day service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME! On Friday, June 13, members of St. Alban’s will gather together at 7:05 to cheer on our TinCaps. It’s a fireworks night, so be sure to invite your friends. Tickets are $9.00 each. Ticket envelopes and signup sheet are on the bulletin board. Payment must be received by next Sunday. Make checks payable to St. Alban’s.

FORWARD DAY BY DAY devotional booklets for May through July are available in the narthex. Please take one for your own devotions and another to share with a friend.

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY, tempered with the sure hope of the resurrection, is extended to the family of Loretta Curtis, who died May 2. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
