ONE YEAR BIBLE STUDY meets today at 9:15 a.m. and again on Sunday, September 29.

JUNIOR CHOIR Students in grade 2 and up are welcome to join the new junior choir, which will rehearse every Sunday, beginning today, from approximately 11:30 to noon.

OUTREACH COMMISSION meets today at 11:30 a.m.

NEWSLETTER DEADLINE is this Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Please have your articles into the church office by 9:00 a.m. Thank you.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING gather at 9:30 a.m. this Tuesday for Holy Eucharist, followed by a business meeting.

VESTRY meets this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

JOHNNY APPLESEED BOOTH SETUP Those helping to set up the Johnny Appleseed Booth should meet at the church at 3:00 p.m. this Friday, September 20.

SIGN UP NOW to help with our Johnny Appleseed Festival booth next weekend. The festival is Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Join us for a three-hour shift as a cook or server on Saturday and Sunday, or as an early morning fire starter. We provide the attire and supplies. Come and enjoy the fun and fellowship. If you’re new, why not join the crew?

LADIES BIBLE STUDY and FELLOWSHIP GROUP will meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month, beginning September 26. We start with refreshments at 6:00 p.m., followed by prayer, discussion and study at 6:30. We end sharply at 8:00 All ladies of the church are welcome to join us for this time of study and fellowship. We are currently reading from the Acts of the Apostles, but are open to suggestions for other studies. Hope to see you at my house on the 26th. SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH. Chris Renner will present a Disaster Preparedness Seminar on Saturday, September 28, at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome. Please join us as we talk about how to get prepared for a disaster.

DIOCESAN FESTIVAL DAY All are welcome to attend the second annual diocesan Festival Day on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Camp Alexander Mack in Milford, Indiana. Cost is $10 per person or $25 per family. See the poster on the bulletin board in the narthex for more details or visit http://www.ednin.org to register.

ALTAR LINENS If you have any altar linens at home, please return them to the sacristy.

FOOD BANK CURRENT NEEDS: fruit juice, spaghetti sauce, stewed tomatoes, ramen noodles, flour, sugar, salad dressing, laundry soap, bar soap, and toothpaste. Please note that we currently have an overabundance of vegetables and soup. We can always use workers 2½ hours once a month or when convenient for you.

OPEN DATES for Sanctuary Candles are September 22 and 29.
