Weekly Announcements, April 26

YOUTH GROUP meets tonight at 6:30 p.m.

NEXT SUNDAY IS YOUTH SUNDAY It is always special for our congregation to watch our youth be a major part of the Eucharist.

DIOCESAN CAMP We have chosen next Sunday to raise money so that the younger children, as well as the teens, can attend camp. Cost is $405 per camper in grades 3-9 and $350 per teen in grades 9-12. Camp is a very important part in helping our kids on their spiritual journey. Special envelopes are available in the pew card holders. Any amount would be greatly appreciated; we don’t want cost to be the reason that a child doesn’t go to camp. Talk with Cindy Spice if you would like more information about Camp Mack or how you can help.

At each station a meditation, versicle and response, and prayer is read.

The Easter Vigil, consists of the lighting of the new fire, readings from our biblical history, the Renewal of Baptismal Vows, and Holy Communion. Beginning in total darkness and ending in light, it connects God’s power in Baptism with remembrance of His saving acts and promises in the Old Testament to the celebration of the Resurrection.

NEXT SUNDAY at our 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. services we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, which assures the forgiveness of sins and life eternal to all who believe in Him as their Savior.
